1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "you", or "your") and Innovent Events ("we", "us", "our", or "the Company"), governing your access to and use of our website and all services we provide.
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation, signing a booking confirmation, or making any payment, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may inform or contact us about our website and services.
2. Permitted Use of Our Website and Services
You agree to use our website and services solely for lawful purposes and strictly in accordance with all applicable federal and emirate-level laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates. You must not:
- Use our website or services for fraudulent, unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or otherwise harmful purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, databases, or any connected networks;
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, spam, offensive content, or material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Engage in conduct that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the functionality of our website.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to our services, without notice or liability, if we determine — at our sole discretion — that you have violated these Terms or any applicable law.
3. Services Offered
Innovent Events provides professional event planning, event management, production coordination, supplier coordination, venue support, creative concept development, logistics management, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
The precise scope of work, deliverables, timelines, payment terms, fees, and exclusions applicable to each engagement shall be set out in our written quotation, proposal, booking confirmation, or formal agreement issued to you ("Service Agreement"). All Services are subject to:
- Availability of dates, venues, and suppliers at the time of confirmation;
- Venue rules, third-party supplier terms, and applicable UAE laws and regulations;
- Receipt of all required client information, approvals, and deposits.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a Service Agreement, the Service Agreement shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
4. Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is not considered confirmed and we are under no obligation to reserve dates, suppliers, venues, or resources until all of the following conditions have been satisfied:
- We have issued written booking confirmation to you;
- The required deposit or advance payment has been received and cleared; and
- All required client information, authority approvals, venue consents, and documentation have been provided.
Until written confirmation is issued, all dates, prices, venue availability, supplier availability, and Services remain subject to change and are not guaranteed.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, current, and timely information necessary for us to deliver the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, event dates, venue details, guest numbers, technical and audio-visual requirements, supplier preferences, payment information, identity documents, and authority approvals.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- All information and materials you provide to us are accurate and may lawfully be used in connection with the event;
- All required permits, licences, and approvals from relevant UAE authorities are obtained in a timely manner, where this is your agreed responsibility;
- Any changes to your event requirements are communicated to us in writing as early as practicable.
We shall not be liable for any delay, additional cost, or failure to deliver the Services caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or late provision of information or approvals by you or your representatives.
6. Permits, Licences, and Authority Approvals
Certain events held in the UAE may require permits, licences, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), security approvals, or other permissions from federal or emirate-level authorities, venue operators, or building management. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing:
- All government fees, permit fees, NOC fees, venue fees, third-party charges, and authority-imposed costs remain the financial responsibility of the Client;
- Where we agree to assist with permit coordination, this is on a best-efforts basis only and does not guarantee approval;
- All approvals and permits remain subject to the sole discretion of the relevant authority, venue operator, or third party.
We accept no liability for any event that cannot proceed, is delayed, or is modified due to the refusal, revocation, or conditional grant of any permit or authority approval.
7. Prices, Payment, and VAT
All fees and charges will be stated in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Value Added Tax (VAT) will be applied in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on VAT and its amendments. Where VAT applies, it will be charged at the applicable rate and stated separately on quotations and invoices.
Additional charges may apply for, and are not limited to, the following:
- Changes in project scope, brief, or requirements after confirmation;
- Urgent or expedited service requests;
- Additional guests, extended event hours, or additional suppliers;
- Government fees, permit costs, venue surcharges, overtime, and transport;
- Services not expressly included in the confirmed quotation or Service Agreement.
Payments must be made in accordance with the payment schedule stated in the quotation, invoice, or Service Agreement. We reserve the right to suspend, pause, or terminate the Services if any payment is not received by the agreed upon due date.
8. Cancellation, Postponement, and Refunds
Cancellation and postponement terms will be set out in the relevant quotation, Service Agreement, or booking confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Deposits and advance payments may be non-refundable where they have been applied to planning time, supplier bookings, venue reservations, permit applications, production work, or other costs already committed on your behalf;
- In the event of cancellation, any refund due will be calculated after deducting: all work completed to the date of cancellation, committed supplier and venue costs, government and permit fees, applicable bank or processing charges, and any agreed cancellation fee;
- Payments made directly to third-party suppliers, venues, or government authorities are subject to those parties' own refund and cancellation policies, which may be non-refundable.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any refund rights that are conferred on you as a consumer under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection or other applicable law.
Force Majeure Cancellations: If an event is cancelled, restricted, or required to be postponed as a direct result of authority orders, venue closure, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control (see Clause 9), we will work with you in good faith to explore rescheduling options. Any refund or credit in such circumstances will be determined based on the status of work completed, recoverable supplier and venue costs, and applicable law.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be in breach of these Terms, nor liable for any delay or failure in performance, to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by a Force Majeure Event, meaning any event or circumstance outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, flood, or earthquake;
- Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency;
- Government orders, regulatory action, authority restrictions, or changes in law;
- Venue closure, supplier insolvency, or supplier failure;
- Civil unrest, war, terrorism, security incidents, or transport disruption;
- Power failure, internet outage, or telecommunications disruption.
Upon the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will act in good faith to explore options to reschedule, adjust, or otherwise mitigate the impact on your event.

- 12.2 Exclusion of Consequential Loss: In no event shall the Company be liable to the Client or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses. - 12.3 Third-Party Acts and Omissions: The Company acts as an intermediary and coordinator between the Client and third-party suppliers (including but not limited to venues, caterers, performers, and technical crews). The Company shall not be held liable for the defaults, negligence, or failures of such third parties, nor for any injury or damage arising from the use of third-party equipment or premises. Our duty is limited to the exercise of reasonable professional care in the selection and coordination of such suppliers.
- 12.4 Legal Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude the Company’s liability for:
- (a) Death or personal injury caused by the Company’s gross negligence;

- (a) Any breach of these Terms or the Service Agreement by the Client;
- (b) Any damage to property or injury to persons caused by the Client’s guests, attendees, representatives, or invitees during the course of an event;
- (c) Any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights resulting from materials or instructions provided by the Client;

14. Amendments to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on our website, identified by an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
The version of these Terms in effect on the date of your confirmed booking shall govern that booking, unless a subsequent change is required by applicable UAE law or is expressly agreed in writing between us.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and all disputes or claims arising from or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE, unless both parties agree in writing to an alternative lawful dispute resolution mechanism, such as arbitration or mediation.
16. Language and Translation Control
- 16.1 Governing Language: These Terms are written and published in the English language. All communications, notices, and documentation related to the Services shall be conducted in English.
- 16.2 Judicial Requirements: The parties acknowledge that, pursuant to UAE law, the Arabic language is the official language of the UAE Courts. Should a translation of these Terms (or any related Service Agreement) be required for judicial proceedings, government filings, or official authority requests, such translation must be requested from the Company in writing.
- 16.3 Provision of Translation: To ensure technical accuracy and consistency with the original intent of these Terms, the Company reserves the exclusive right to provide the official legal translation via a certified legal translator licensed by the UAE Ministry of Justice.
- 16.4 Prevailing Version: In the event of any conflict, inconsistency, or discrepancy between the English version and any Arabic translation submitted to a court or authority, the Arabic version shall prevail in accordance with UAE legal requirements, but only to the extent of such conflict.
17. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
